Scooter skills story
This is my published story about when I brought my scooter to school for a scooter skills clinic. I had to write a story about what I learnt or liked. I am learning to use capital letters at the start of my story and at the start of a new sentence. I am proud when I remember to use a capital letter in my story. It is tricky remembering where to put it sometimes. Next time I could try using a full stops in my story too.
Ordering numbers 1-20
I am learning to order numbers from smallest to biggest in the range of 1-20. I had to put the numbers in the caterpillar body in the right order. It can be tricky putting the numbers together in the right order because it is tricky to move the mouse on the laptop. I am proud that I can put them in the right order.
Root words and word endings
I am learning to identify root words and their different endings. I had to circle the ending of the words. The ending of “looking” is “ing”. Other word endings I can see in my reader are “ed”, “er” and “s”. I am proud of how I circled the endings of the words. It is tricky to circle the ending and not the other letters.
Isabel: It was easy because I saw the endings straight away.
